This rather bizarre concept is being made reality in the US city of Durham, where a tiny office space, called The Smoffice, has been erected in a prime business area.

 

As a collaboration between the local chamber of commerce and a coffee shop, it’s an idea that could easily be transplanted to Australia.

 

But, as this article shrewdly points out, it’s more than just a gimmick – it shows that start-ups don’t have to rely on copious funding and resources to succeed.
