Countdown to Christmas, and there’s plenty to do. But while ticking items on your list, don’t forget to put one on your health.
Yule be glad you did
With the end of this year coming around pretty quickly, many of us are wondering how on earth we’re going to fit everything in! With our regular hectic work schedules and crazy home routines, how are we going to fit in all the parties, Christmas shopping, parties, Christmas preparations, parties, Christmas concerts, parties, extra exercise to make up for the extra eating and drinking – and did I mention parties???
The problem is, that’s not all we should be fitting in… Many people go through the whole year with niggling little health concerns. They don’t worry about going to the doctor because they’re too busy, too stressed, too tired, or just too plain lazy.
And yet, those niggling little health concerns are still there, and will continue to be until they’re checked. You know the ones… the sore knee, the persistent cough, the headaches, the crook back, the bloated tummy, the overwhelming tiredness. I could go on. These are all legitimate complaints, so why do so many people put off going to get them checked out?
So, as you’re creating your huge list of to-do’s to get you through Christmas and into the new year, remember to pop a little visit to your doctor on the list too. Having your niggling little health concern all fixed up will certainly help make this one a very merry Christmas!
