Social media giant Twitter has announced new features for its TweetDeck app, including the ability to schedule tweets with photos.
Users will be able to select an image for their tweets after selecting the scheduled tweet option.
Another new feature will give users of a shared account the ability to view and edit each other’s scheduled tweets.
The new functionality, replicating a feature already found in competing apps such as HootSuite, will allow users to add columns listing all the messages currently in the queue.
Users will be able to add the column by choosing the “scheduled” option from the “add column” menu.
For businesses advertising with the social media giant, tweets scheduled through TweetDeck will appear in their Twitter ad account, and upcoming ads will also appear on Twitter.
The changes will initially be rolled out for the web, Chrome and Windows versions of the app, with Twitter promising to add the new features to the Mac version in the near future.
