Many of us now take for granted the amount of personal information we hand over to the apps we use every day. But would we be quite so blase about it all if the same information (or “data”) was being requested by a real, live person, in this case a cafe worker? This entertaining little video highlights some of the absurdities of data collection in the age of ubiquitous apps and “big data” management.
