Facebook is set to unveil a number of mobile products next week, according to a new report from TechCrunch.
The report claims the long-awaited “Project Spartan” products, which relate to updates for its mobile sites, will be debuted next week.
One of these is a dedicated iPad app, which Facebook users have been awaiting for months, ever since the launch of the original device.
This comes after a separate report from Mashable that Facebook would launch its own iPad app at next week’s Apple press conference dedicated to the iPhone 5. However, the TechCrunch report claims this will be debuted at Facebook’s own press conference.
The report comes after a former Facebook employee wrote earlier this week in a blog post that the iPad app had actually been finished since earlier this year.
