Samsung’s head of products and tech for the company’s United States mobile division will leave the company for a new role at Citigroup, it has been reported.
According to CNET Omar Khan will work on Citigroup’s new mobile services.
“Omar is not leaving to join a competitor to Samsung and we anticipate having a continued relationship with him once he settles into his new role,” a Citigroup spokesperson told the publication.
Samsung said head of portfolio planning and product marketing Nick Dicarlo and content head Gavin Kim will assume some of Khan’s responsibilities.
