Smartphone manufacturer HTC has launched a new web security portal that will allow users to locate their missing phones.
The launch comes after Apple has launched a similar service of its own, which allows users to locate their missing iPhones and remotely wipe data.
The HTCSense.com portal allows users to locate phones by triggering a ringtone, or by viewing its location on a map. Remote locking and content deletion is also included, while calls can be forwarded to a new number.
The portal is also available for users to manage their contacts, text messages, call history, wallpapers, ringtones, sounds and plug-ins. The service is available for the HTC Desire Z and the Desire HD so far.
