New figures from US analytics group ComScore show social networking giant Facebook reached a new traffic record in June.
The firm reveals the site had 141 million unique visitors during June in the US, compared to its previous record of 130 million recorded just one month beforehand.
According to Mashable, the site has continued to grow while rivals MySpace and Twitter have recorded relatively little growth. However, many Twitter and MySpace users are also accessing their respective services via mobile devices.
Twitter has also pointed out that that the actual number of tweets on its service are growing, along with the number of users accessing through mobile apps and third-party programs.
