Oracle founder and Hawaiian island owner Larry Ellison has predicted tech giant Apple will crumble without the presence of its founder, Steve Jobs.
In an interview on US talk show CBS This Morning, Ellison said he predicts that Apple will suffer a similar slump to the one it suffered during Jobs’ period away from the company during the late ‘80s and early ‘90s.
Last year, Ellison purchased the Hawaiian island of Lanai for $US300 million, and according to the Pacific Business Times, has recently been in negotiations to purchase the right to the Aloha Airlines brand for his private airline.
