MY BEST TECH: Michael McKinnon

Michael McKinnon is the security advisor for AVG, which makes a variety of computer security software. It’s a busy role, so McKinnon uses a tool called Omnifocus to make sure he has his to-do list organised the best way possible.

“This is a task management program, it allows the tracking of lists and the management of to-do lists. And it’s great!”

“It uses the same sort of process that’s used in a book called How To Get Things Done. There’s a whole sort of movement around that book, and the tool uses that as a guide.”

“So you put in tasks, it categorises them, keeps track of them all, you can keep track of them through different contexts. It’s a great tool for getting stuff done.”
