Cathie Reid owns and manages APHS, a growing pharmaceutical business with divisions in manufacturing, oncology and pharmacies. APHS has been phenomenally successful – it is turning over $350 million in revenue a year.
Asked for her favourite piece of technology, Reid nominates an underrated favourite.
At the moment, it’s not a typical productivity tool, but I so love Twitter.
The use of Twitter by healthcare professionals is a really emerging space, and the ideas that you’re able to get, and the thinking that it stimulates… is, well, I’m not sure it’s more productive, but it’s giving me plenty more ideas.
At the moment, Twitter is probably my number one business tool.
