The mobile device patent wars continue, with Apple winning an injunction against Motorola in Germany over the use of the slide-to-unlock feature.
According to Ars Technica, Apple had unsuccessfully attempted to gain a preliminary injunction against Samsung in the Netherlands based on the same patent.
Last year, Apple used a similar patent dispute to gain an injunction delaying the Australian release of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.
The latest news comes after Google won EU regulatory approval to take over Motorola last week. European competition regulators have said they will monitor Google’s use of the combined patent portfolio closely.
