Microsoft may be planning to release a version of Office for the iOS and Android in November, according to reports.
Citing sources within the company, BGR also claims that the loading screen for the iPad version clearly displays “Office for iOS”, and therefore it is plausible that the software will be compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch devices.
If the November release date is accurate, it will coincide with the release of Microsoft’s forthcoming operating system for tablet devices running ARM processors, known as Windows RT.
The latest news comes after Microsoft denied an earlier leak about a possible release of Office for iOS devices in February.
