Intel has released details about a new cut-price mini laptop that will be aimed at the education market. The 2go PC will be manufactured for Intel by Computer Technology Link (CTL) and features a 22.8 centimetre 800 x 480 LCD screen.
Tech website Engadget believes that the 2go PC will be on the US market in about 60 days and is expected to retail for around $US400. The 2go PC will include;
- Intel Celeron M processor, on top of a 915GMS graphics chipset.
- 40GB hard drive.
- 512MB of RAM.
- Battery life of 3 hrs.
- 2 USB 2.0 ports.
Businesspeople keen to work on an aeroplane or train will also be attracted to this little laptop.
