Troubled computer group Hewlett Packard may scrap as many as 25,000 jobs, according to a new report from Bloomberg.
The publication has reported that, according to unnamed sources, the company is considering scrapping 8% of its total global workforce.
The report also suggests between 10,000 and 15,000 of the cuts will come from the enterprise services group, although it says many workers will be offered early retirement packages.
This comes after the company confirmed earlier this year that it would start a reorganisation procedure, although it didn’t mention any layoffs immediately.
