Google has been under scrutiny over the past few months for its Google Glass product, with privacy advocates arguing the technology is problematic due its built-in camera.
The internet giant has posted a new frequently asked questions in an attempt to address some of the concerns, saying the company has been thinking “very carefully” about how to solve these issues.
In answer to one of the questions, “Is Glass recording video or taking pictures all the time?”, the company says “no”.
“Glass is really about capturing moments in your life…the default video recording on Glass is set to 10 seconds”.
However, despite the extensive FAQ, privacy advocates are likely to continue their battle against the technology.
