Four-inch iPhone to launch in third quarter, rumour suggests

A new iPhone with a four-inch screen will launch in the third quarter of the year, according to a new rumour from Topeka Capital Markets analyst Brian White.

White says in a new note to investors that the device, which will also feature a unibody case, will launch in the third quarter of the year.

“The buzz around the iPhone 5 is growing in Asia and speculation around the timing of the launch has begun,” he said, according to Boy Genius Report.

“In our view, this will be the most significant iPhone upgrade with a four-inch screen and a new, sleek look that we believe will require a unibody case.” 

“This new, sleek look will be the most important reason that consumers decide to upgrade to the iPhone 5.”
