Boy Genius Report has revealed a note to investors issued by JP Morgan that predicts the release of the “iPhone 4 Plus” and the iPhone 5 should come within the next few months.
This comes alongside separate reports that Samsung is already trying to block the iPhone 5 in South Korea before its release.
The JP Morgan note states the iPhone 5 will feature global roaming, with support for CDMA and GSM. It also predicts the new devices will be thinner and lighter than the iPhone 4.
The name of the new iPhone 4 model has been predicted as iPhone 4 Plus, opposed to the iPhone 4S name that has been used in the past by some other reports.
Meanwhile, Samsung has told the Korea Times that it is already working on getting a national sales ban imposed on the iPhone 5 in South Korea. This comes directly after their countersuing of Apple in Australia over an alleged patent violation.
