Facebook officials have revealed that this year’s f8, the social media company’s yearly conference, is going to be the biggest yet.
Alongside expected demonstrations of Facebook’s new video and music services, a major news feed update is expected to be announced.
According to TechCrunch Facebook is planning to build on their “Like” button concept, with new buttons such as “Read”, “Watched”, “Listened” and “Want”. The buttons would provide the company with a large amount of information for ad targeting.
The motto for this year’s f8, which will take place on Thursday in San Francisco, has been revealed as “Read. Watch. Listen.”, tying in with the possible new features.
