The iPad 3 could be even thinner than the current model, according to a new report from Taiwan Economic News.
The publication has reported that Apple has brought on Simplo Technology and Dynapack International Technology to produce batteries for the upcoming iPad 3.
These new batteries, according to the report, will be thinner and lighter than the current models, but will be more expensive.
The publication also states that these battery backs will feature a longer life span than the iPad 2, which has already been praised for lasting several hours with heavy use without requiring a charge.
