The first bids for video streaming site Hulu could reach as high as $US2 billion, according to a new report in the Wall Street Journal.
The report comes after separate rumours have indicated that the site is being sold, and that Google, Apple and Yahoo are among the reported bidders. Amazon is also reportedly involved.
The new report claims that the first bids are due by this Wednesday, with each proposal to vary in price depending on that bidder’s particular vision for the site.
It is expected that each bidder will have a different vision for which shows will be available and how the site will work.
