Research In Motion may be planning to launch its first QNX powered smartphone, the BlackBerry Colt, later this year instead of early 2012.
The move comes as RIM is restructuring its business in order to prevent ongoing losses and reposition its place in the market.
Tweakers.net has posted a new report in which it claims anonymous sources have said RIM will be launching the Colt later this year. The device has already been revealed to be a QNX powered device.
The publication also states that the device will be powered by just one core, with a speed of 1.2Ghz. It is also set to feature a 4.3 inch touch screen.
