Apple will launch this year’s iPad 3 at a similar price point to the iPad 2, which is expected to be discounted, according to a new report in the Taiwan Economic News.
The rumour comes after several other reports have indicated that Apple will be launching a new iPad this year with an upgraded screen.
The publication reports that Apple will price the iPad 3 at the same price point as the iPad 2, which was discounted from the original iPad released last year. It also reports that the iPad 2 will be discounted in a similar manner.
The new iPad is expected to come alongside the release of a new iPhone model, along with updates for iTunes and the iPad range of products.
