Google has launched a new iPhone application that allows users to find deals located around them.
The app, which originally focused on comparing different deals, has now included the function to include Google Offers, the company’s type of group buying program.
“The Offers tab displays a list, or map view, of nearby offers which businesses have submitted through Google Places,” Google Shopper product manager Richard Hung says on the company’s blog: “If Google Offers are available in your city, you’ll be able to view and redeem your purchased offers on the My Offers tab.”
Google Offers have launched in Portland, and are expanding into a few other cities. They are not yet available internationally.
