WordPress has ceased support for Internet Explorer 6, just the latest in a series of moves from software companies to abandon the much-hated program.
WordPress said in a statement that it would drop support due to “increasingly complex code trickery to make the WordPress dashboard work”.
The move also comes after WordPress just updated its iOS apps, adding new features including quick photo and statistic trackers.
The decision to end support for Internet Explorer 6 also comes after Microsoft started its own countdown to have users upgrade.
