Are you an electronic reader lover with an eye for a bargain and tolerance for ads?
Then sign up here – apparently Target and Best Buy in the US will be offering the world’s first ad-support Kindle for a mere $US114. That’s $25 cheaper than the least expensive Kindle, but comes attached with ads in the bottom of the device’s home page and on its screen savers.
Still, it could be worse: TechCrunch reckons the ads won’t ruin the reading experience, and reminds us of a time (3.5 years ago, to be precise) when Kindle sold for $399.
