Google has launched a web-based version of the Android market, after users have been forced for months to only view apps on their smartphones.
The Android Market Web Store will allow users to browse through all of the apps available on the Android Market and buy them from a browser.
“The Android Market Web Store is basically the new way that users can get apps on their devices,” Chris Yerga, Android engineering director for cloud services at Google, told PCMag.
When users want to purchase an app, they click on the “buy” button and then you can select your device.
“No wires, no synching with computers, none of that sort of nonsense,” Yerga said. “Everything just works seamlessly syncing between the two.”
