Internet giant Google will hold a press conference this Wednesday in San Francisco to show off the Android Honeycomb operating system.
A preview version of the software was debuted at CES last month. Honeycomb is specifically designed for tablet devices, and is not just a spruced up version of the smartphone version.
Various publications have received the invitations, which request them to join Google “for an in-depth look at Honeycomb, Android ecosystem news and hands-on demos”.
The first tablet device to use Honeycomb will be the Motorola Xoom, which is set to hit shelves in the first half of this year.
