Speculation is now rampant that Apple will announce the iPhone will come to Verizon’s network, with the tech gadget lining up a press announcement for January 11.
According to various reports, Verizon will make the announcement rather than Apple, although Steve Jobs is expected to attend.
Boy Genius Report has also reported this morning that February 3 has been set as the Verizon iPhone launch date.
This report also comes after various publications have claimed Apple employees have been restricted from taking leave within the next few weeks.
The press conference will also take place in New York, rather than Apple’s home town of San Francisco.
