Social networking giant Facebook has updated its iPhone app with new features to help stabilise some features including chat and messages.
The fix comes after several users have complained that some of the app’s features were making the software crash from time to time.
Among the remedies included in the app update are a fix for chat and messages, an improved user interface for notifications, memory usage, and a fix so what walls you cannot post on do not show the text field at the top of the page.
The Facebook app, which is free, is among the most popular apps available with over 55 million users. However, the company has also said that it currently has no plans to make an iPad version of the app.
