Various tech publications are reporting that The Daily, News Corp’s iPad-based magazine, will be delayed until 2011.
Tech Radar is reporting that a delay in the release of iOS 4.3, which will allow recurring subscriptions, will mean The Daily will be pushed back until next year.
It is understood that Apple chief executive Steve Jobs has been personally involved in the project, which has cost over $US30 million and hosts a staff between 100 to 150.
It has been rumoured that Apple will announce a new iPad in January. If so, that same press conference could play host to the release of The Daily, along with the recurring subscription addition to the iOS software.
