Popular tech blog Engadget has published what it believes to be specific technical details of the upcoming HP slate, set to rival the Apple iPad in the portable computing market.
The gadget reportedly contains a 1.6GHz Intel processor, an 8.9-inch display, 32GB or 64GB of Flash storage and 1GB of RAM.
It comes as HP had unveiled a short video showing off the tablet, which runs off Windows 7 and includes a webcam, and contains the ability to playback video at 1080p definition.
Microsoft chief executive Steve Ballmer displayed the slate earlier this year, saying it would be a great addition to the portable computing market. No release date for the gadget has been announced.
