The tech world is eagerly awaiting the release of Apple’s tablet computer next year, but rumours now suggest it may have to wait a little longer.
According to new reports from tech blog DigiTimes, the tablet device has now been delayed until the second half of 2010, despite initial rumours it would have been released before June next year.
The rumour also suggests Apple will release two versions of the tablet, one with a 10.6-inch CD screen under $US1,000, while another will boast a 9.7-inch OLED screen priced at about $US2,200.
It has also been suggested that manufacturing will be split between three different companies.
Some analysts have dismissed the latest rumours, but as Apple is yet to make any announcement regarding the rumoured device, all rumours are merely speculation.
