US space exploration agency NASA has released its official iPhone app, allowing users to download free updates on the latest happenings in the organisation.
The app, which is free for iPod Touch and iPhone users, is available in the App Store and provides “information, videos, images and news updates about NASA missions”, according to the organisation.
Users are able to track probes, the International Space Station and view NASA countdown clocks.
“We’re excited to deliver a wide range of up-to-the-minute NASA content to iPhone and iPod Touch users,” communications directorate at Ames, Gary Martin, told The Age.
“The NASA App provides an easy and interesting way for the public to experience space exploration.”
