An iPhone user in the United States now faces criminal charges for allegedly revealing a pistol to an Apple Store employee and threatening to shoot his malfunctioning device.
Daniel Goodrich is now facing a variety of charges after walking into the store and speaking with the female employee, then revealing the gun and threatening to “pop a 9mm” into the gadget.
The employee directed Goodrich to a “Genius Bar” in the store, where users can speak with Apple technicians about malfunctioning devices.
She then informed the store manager, who called the police. They then arrived and charged Goodrich with displaying aggravated menacing behaviour, carrying a concealed weapon and causing fear of harm.
