Management Resource Solutions is no stranger to the Smart50, having been on the list for a few years now because of a period of incredible growth.
Health Metrics
This is the first time Health Metrics has made it on to the Smart50. Founded in 2008 by Steven Strange, who has a background in IT management, the technology company took two years to hit the $1 million revenue mark and the last financial year turned over more than $4.3 million.
Pacific Retail Management
This year marks Pacific Retail Management's second time in the Smart50. After coming in at number 50 last year, the parent company of franchises Go Sushi, Wasabi Warriors and Kick! Juice Bars has jumped 15 spots to rank 35 this year.
VentralP Australia Pty Ltd
A new entrant to the Smart50, IT company VentraIP Australia Pty Ltd began when founders Angelo Giuffrida and Cheyne Jonstone saw a gap in the market for an IT provider that specialised in automating solutions for customers online, while providing better customer service and technical support.
Positive Lending Solutions
Mark Caesarowicz and his son Tom founded Positive Lending Solutions in May 2009, at the height of the Global Financial Crisis, after Mark was made redundant from his previous job in the finance industry.
Mummu Sport
A new entry to the Smart50 this year, sports logistics company Mummu Sport was founded in 2010. Founded by Marcel Berger, Mummu Sport partners with local organising committees at major sporting events to deliver commercial events by creating travel packages for sports teams, athletes and their fans.
Vinomofo
Founded in 2011 by Andre Eikmeier and Justin Dry, Vinomofo has consistently found itself in the Smart50. While dropping down from being ranked 22 last year, the Vinomofo is still growing strongly, with revenue almost doubling in the past 12 months and 20 new employees joining the business.
Calibre Real Estate
Calibre Real Estate has achieved impressive year-on-year growthsince first entering the Brisbane real estate industry just four years ago; it is the third year the real estate agency has been named a Smart50 finalist.
Laser Clinics Australia
This is Laser Clinics Australia’s first time in the Smart50. Based in NSW but now with about 50 cosmetic clinics around Australia, Laser Clinics Australia was founded in 2008 by Alistair Champion and Babak Moini.
Temple & Webster
This is online homewares retailer Temple & Webster’s first entry in the Smart50, although it has received numerous accolades in SmartCompany’sWeb Awards in the past.
