Taking the “first step” in Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s election promise “to revive our ability to make world-class products”, Australia’s federal parliament has approved a $15 billion National Reconstruction Fund.

Anthony Albanese said the investment in advanced manufacturing would create jobs and replace the 85,000 jobs stripped from the national workforce since the Coalition had been in power.
