Melbourne-founded skincare brand Grown Alchemist will return to private ownership in a deal worth $46 million, two years after it was acquired by global beauty giant L'Occitane Group.

French retailer L'Occitane's Green Store at Westfield Bondi Junction has been recognised for its commitment to a more sustainable and greener future for the beauty and retail industries. 

The Hong Kong-listed beauty giant acquired a majority stake in Australian-based clean skincare brand Grown Alchemist for an undisclosed sum.

The L’Occitane green store has been built in the space of its Westfield Bondi Junction store in Sydney in partnership with the Green Building Council of Australia.
