Lawpath has secured $7.5 million in fresh funding to further scale its legal tech platform for small business owners, as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to disrupt the traditional legal industry. 

When COVID-19 forced the relaxation of requirements around legal documents, Lawpath was quick to act. But these changes have been a long time coming.

Lawpath has raised $4.4 million in an oversubscribed funding round, as it sets out to democratise access to legal advice for SMEs.

LawPath has raised $1.8 million in a round led by LegalZoom, but chief executive Dom Woolrych says it’s “not about how much, it’s about who is investing”.
