Australian gourmet ready-meal delivery startup ChefPrep has acquired artisan food vendor Co-Lab Pantry, with the retooled venture promising next-day delivery across the country.

Co-Lab Pantry started out as an “emotional project” to help Victorian restaurants find a much-needed source of revenue during the coronavirus pandemic. 

The Victorian government has pledged to spend an extra $8.5 million to promote its 'Click for Vic' website and campaign, which showcases small producers across the state.

Click for Vic will connect residents with small businesses moving online to sell their produce amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
