Most Windows users would be aware of the Windows Update feature that allows your computer to receive software updates regularly, without you having to download a bunch at once. But did you know this can actually be expanded to include other Windows products?
By changing a small feature in the Windows update service, you can extend the updates to Microsoft Office, and other Microsoft software. This means when you download updates, all your official Microsoft programs will be updated and you won’t need to visit a separate page.
If you head to the Control Panel, you need to click on Windows Update. Then, click on Change Settings on the left hand side of the page. If you move down the list, you should see an option that states “Give me updates for Microsoft products”.
If you click that option, you will be able to receive updates for Microsoft products along with other Windows updates.
