Every so often you may get an email that has been sent to a large group of people instead of being sent to you personally. But sometimes it’s hard to distinguish between them.
In Gmail, you can use personal indicators to differentiate. Head to the Settings page, and then in the General tab, scroll down to the bottom of the screen.
On the “personal level indicators” section, click on “show indicators”. These will show whether a message has been sent to a list, or just to you.
