Set your iPad to delete data when breached

One day, one of your gadgets will fall into the wrong hands. When that happens, you don’t want someone gaining access to your private details, including banking figures.

There’s a way to set your iPad so that if someone tries to breach it, it automatically deletes the data. Head to the Settings app, then to the general page.

There, select the passcode lock option. Once you’ve set a passcode, there’s an option at the bottom of the screen to have the iPad delete your data after 10 failed attempts.

Remember to back up your data through iCloud regularly, so that this won’t be a problem.
