Apple has been slowly making OS X more like its mobile counterpart, iOS. The latest version, Mountain Lion, brought a bunch of new features, including Reminders and the new Messages app, to name a few.
One of the biggest changes is the new Notification Centre. You can open this just by clicking the icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen – but there’s also an easier way.
To open the Notification Centre more easily, just swipe three fingers from the right side of the trackpad to the left. But the trick is you need to start swiping from outside the trackpad. Otherwise, it won’t register.
It won’t save you much time, but is an easier way of opening the bar.
