If you take your phone or iPad into work every day, or a place where there are a lot of WiFi networks, then you may find that you inadvertently join one you’re not meant to.
This can be annoying, especially if you want to download data in the background. There’s a way to ensure you can “forget” these networks and just join the one you want.
Head to the Wi-Fi section of iOS, then press on the “arrow” button on the network you want to ignore. At the top of the screen, there should be a button to “forget this network”. Do so, and that network won’t be joined next time you turn on WiFi.
