You may use Outlook for your business email, and many business owners use the Contacts feature to keep track of all their potential contacts and business leads.
But what happens when you want to move them all to a different program? Thankfully Outlook has a feature to export your contacts into a CSV file for easy access.
First, go to File, and then click on the Options tab, below “help”. Then, click on Advanced, and then under the Export tab, click “Export”.
You’ll be taken to the Wizard. Here you’ll need to click on “Export to a file”, and then click on “next”. You’ll want to then choose the type of file that you want, (a CSV file), and then click on next. Then, choose the export folder, and then follow the final prompts.
This will allow you to move your contacts to other programs without much fuss.
