Sometimes you’ll be working on your computer and find that it’s become very slow for some reason or perhaps a particular program is hogging up a lot of time.
It may be because that program is using more memory than other programs you have open.
To find out which of your programs are hogging the most memory on a Windows machine, press Ctrl+Alt+Del and then open the task manager.
Then, click on “processes”. You’ll see a list of programs. Click on “memory” – this will organise the open programs into which are using the most memory. Find out which one is causing the problem, and then close it.
