With a new iOS update coming later this year, it’s a good time to remind yourself how to update your software over the air.
This will only work if you have iOS 5 installed. If you have an earlier version, you’ll need to update that first.
First, go to the Settings app, and then go to General. Then, select “Software Update”. If Apple’s updated its servers, then you’ll see an update there.
Then, select “Install now”. Make sure you have enough space on the phone, as it’ll take some time to download the software before installing it.
