One of the better features of Apple’s iCloud is the ability to now back up your devices in the cloud. You can do this with iPhones and iPads when the screens are locked; the device is plugged in, and connected to a wireless network.
You’ll need to back up your devices regularly. To check when they were last backed up, head to the Settings app, then choose iCloud towards the bottom of the screen.
Then, choose “Storage and backup”. At the very bottom of the screen, you’ll see information on your latest backup. Don’t leave too much time between each backup!
