One of the great new features in Android 4.4 KitKat is how easy it is to print a document on a wireless printer. If you have an ePrint-compatible HP printer, here’s how to set it up.
First, check to see that your printer is switched on and connected to Wi-Fi. How to do this varies from printer to printer, so check your printer manual for instructions on setting it up.
Next, on your smartphone, make sure Wi-Fi is switched on, and you’re connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your printer.
Then, in the Settings menu, tap on the printing option. It’s right near the bottom of the list.
You should see two options: Cloud Print and HP Print Service Plugin. By default, both of these should be switched to on (they need to be on in order for you to print).
Tap on HP Print Service Plugin.
Assuming you’ve set your printer up correctly, your printer should appear on this screen. If so, as long as both your phone and printer are on the same Wi-Fi network, you should be able to print to it wirelessly.
